Local EMT's Family Needs Help!

On December 27, 2024, Nick went to work to keep doing the things he always did to support his family and keep the bills paid. Unfortunately, while unloading one of the trucks, he was pinned down and nearly killed. While we thank God for the way he was protected from death, Nick did suffer injuries that are going to take some time to heal. As such, he is going to be out of income.

Initially, he will be entirely without income, as worker's compensation takes time. It will eventually kick in, but he will experience a significant decrease in revenue during that time. With all the bills of a typical couple with two children and a household, this family could use our help.

Nick is a truck driver who moves freight around the area, fulfilling his role as a member of the backbone of America's infrastructure. His soon-to-be fiancée is an Emergency Medical Technician in the area. Her two boys are two and three years old, and Nick has stepped up to make this family whole.

We at Abilene's local ambulance service, where his Fiancee-to-be works, are partnering with the local public safety providers and this family to ask that we step up as a community and support their needs in this difficult time. Let's get this little American family back on their feet.
