We first learned about the Lobera's when the Austin Stone Story Team put together a video about the Lobera family and their commitment to the local church, their community, and their desire to have a place where their community can gather. We reached out to the Lobera's and found out they have been working for seven years to remodel their kitchen and family room. Please watch their incredible story below. They have the biggest hearts for others and ask nothing in return.

We set up a work day on Sat Nov. 30th where volunteers insulated the home, framed the inside -- yet there is so much more to do. We thought it would be a wonderful Christmas present if the Lobera's were able to have a family room and kitchen completed by Christmas. We have seen such an outpouring of support. With many people wanting to help, it was suggested we set up a gofundme, so we can quickly garner the support financially so that we can release a deposit to a contractor that has been hired by John Koch this week! This also enables us to allow for others to be a part of this project. This would also be a great giving opportunity for families to give together with their children for Christmas.
The Lobera's have been so thankful for everything that has been done for them at this point -- and we are hoping to surprise them with the supplies and labor to finally complete their project after seven years. We have estimated that we can get this project completed for 15,000. Would you consider helping us come together to quickly raise the funds. We are so appreciative of this community of people -- I have never met a more grateful and joyful family than the Lobera's. Thank you for anything you can do!
