Llanelli Unites, a coalition of local Llanelli and national groups, is hosting a community fun day on the 8th October from 12-4pm at the Lliedi Suite in the Selwyn Samuel Centre.
The fun day will be a celebration of everyone in Llanelli who makes the town a welcoming place.

You may have seen in the news that the Home Secretary Suella Braverman has claimed that multiculturalism has “failed”. We could not disagree more, and we know that there are plenty of people in Llanelli who want to show up in defiance of Braverman’s poisonous words. The Llanelli Unites fun day will be a celebration of multiculturalism, as well as everyone in Llanelli who makes the town a welcoming place to live.

We are running the event free of charge for everyone to attend, and hoping to fundraise to cover the following:

- Security to keep the event safe and fun for all
- Equipment for stallholders, such as tables, marquees and craft supplies
- Food so we can offer free samples of international food
- Publicity such as leaflets and posters so we can invite the whole community
