Hi! I’m running the Boston Marathon with Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI) to widen access to a sport that thrives on teamwork. The habits rowing builds—discipline, resilience, and showing up for others—stick for life, shaping how we learn, work, and lead. Your gift fuels two programs that change lives:
Let’s Row— Let’s Row creates pathways to rowing for youth from under-resourced areas. The program partners with public middle schools and community organizations to cultivate accessibility and inclusion in our sport.
Para & Adaptive Rowing— a national‑model program supporting athletes with disabilities with adaptive equipment, expert coaching, and community partners.
Both rely on donations from this Marathon to keep growing.
My Why
I didn’t find rowing through an inspirational speech. In high school someone said I’d be good at it because I had big shoulders—hardly a pep talk. But the moment I sat in a boat, I found my place. What hooked me wasn’t medals; it was the crew. In an eight there are no superstars—the boat moves only when everyone pulls together. That team‑first culture shaped me in high school and college.
I’m running for Team CRI to open that same door for people who wouldn’t typically get the chance to try rowing—so more future rowers can find belonging, confidence, and a team to call their own.
So this April, every mile I run is for CRI—for the student who finds their crew when an erg rolls into gym class, and for every adaptive athlete pushing for that next stroke of progress. Rowing gave me community and confidence; now it’s my turn to pull it forward. Thank you for your support—I can’t wait to cross Boylston knowing we moved this mission together.
All funds donated here will be used in my employer match program to double my fundraising efforts. My fundraising pledge is $20k. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!
