Lizas final pursuit of happiness ❤️

UPDATE:

Unfortunately Liza has had some heartbreaking news this week that her prognosis of 12 months has been massively shortened due to her relapse being extremely aggressive. There is no treatment now other than pain medication to ensure she is comfortable. This being said, Lizas final pursuit of happiness isn't going to be achievable. After painful talks with Liza she has decided the kind donations would be better spent on giving her the send off that she well and truly deserves and helping with the financial burden that will ultimately lie with her family. She is overwhelmed with all the love and support from everyone and we are all as a family extremely grateful ❤️❤️

Hi my name is Lucy and I'm fundraising for my beautiful sister in law who has sadly been told after a short but harsh battle with AML leukemia that her treatment hasn't worked and her illness is now terminal. Liza was diagnosed in December 2023, she had 2 rounds of brutal chemo followed by a stem cell transplant and a top up, but sadly despite the amazing fight she has put up Liza has been told her cancer is now terminal and at the age of 44 has been given less than a year to live.

In true Liza style she now wants to live what life she has left to the full and make memories that her children,family and friends can cherish forever.

Liza would love a long weekend in Benidorm after falling in love with the well known show. Sightseeing in London and York has always been something she wants to do as well as staying in a big fancy hotel to be treated like the Queen she is for a weekend! Liza has spent the majority of her adult life raising 2 wonderful children who are now just coming into adulthood themselves, it'd be fab for her to tick off some of these things that she has put off as she thought she had a lifetime do get them done!

Aswell as all of this Liza just wants some real quality time with her nearest and dearest ❤️

Being a single parent living wage to wage unfortunately Liza hasn't much set aside and so I'd love to help try and raise as much money as I can to help her last dreams come true ❤️
