In rural Zambia, water determines—health, harvests, and hope.
Why a farm to fund a school?
Because it lasts. Water and solar irrigation don’t just solve today’s need—they create tomorrow’s opportunities. Food on the table, income for the community, and classrooms for the next generation.
As you can see in the photos, we have tried out planting in other plots of land and that harvest brought in enough funds to feed orphans, provide basic medicines + more. We are excited to now do this on our own plot of land with your help!
Help us launch a simple, sustainable solution with a big impact:
• Drill a borehole to access clean groundwater
• Install a solar-powered pump (no fuel costs)
• Add a large, elevated storage tank to feed drip irrigation for farming
• Start with cabbage and mixed vegetables (high-demand crops), then reinvest the harvest income to begin building a main home and schoolhouse
This project makes us self-sufficient: the farm funds the building materials while improving food security and providing local jobs. It’s a virtuous cycle—water → vegetables → income → classrooms.
Why this works
• Sustainable: Solar means no diesel; drip irrigation uses less water, grows more food.
• Scalable: Start with cabbage and staple veg, then expand after the first harvest.
• Community-led: Our on-the-ground team in Zambia will manage drilling, installation, training, planting, sales, and reporting.
What your gift unlocks
• Access to water for gardens
• Fresh, affordable produce for families
• Income to purchase blocks, roofing sheets, desks, and books + more
• A pathway to constructing a school that serves local children for years to come
If we exceed the goal, we will expand drip lines, add a second tank, and accelerate classroom materials. If we are below the goal, we will prioritize borehole + solar pump first, then add tank/irrigation as funds allow.
Thank you for helping us turn water into harvest—and harvest into hope. Together, we can give water, grow food, and build a school in Zambia.
