Living in my car while being disabled.
My name is
Felicia.
I really am in dire need. I have cerebral palsy I am on the right my spouse Darlene is on left with a fluctuating pay because she is a house keeper and I have been unable to get on disability for over a year now or able to find a job.
I am facing eviction if I do not come up with $3,800 before August 1st.
I have 2 cats who I love dearly they are my everything and I can't see my family being home less. I have tried every avenue I can think of and I am running out of options as the landlord will not work with me.
I had so many dreams and aspirations moving here to Florida from being able to drive to just being financially independent for the first time in my life. I feel like those dreams are now being taken away by an unjust landlord who forgets a little human compassion goes a long way. I lie awake at night with Darlene sleeping in the driver's seat next to me and our furbabies in the back, wondering will I be able to feed myself have I failed her? How can I protect my animals or will I ever finally be able to sleep at night without fear of a roof over my head being taken away.
Please help if not for the humans but for our furbabies Xena on the left and Gabby on the right.
