Hi, my name is Lorene Mathis, and we are raising badly needed funds for our wonderful sister, aunt, and mother to Monique, Carmen Roybal.

Carmen has always been a giver to our family and is very prideful in what she does, and now she needs our help.

After going through a battery of tests and biopsies last year, Carmen received the dreaded diagnosis that she is in complete liver failure, and her only viable option is a transplant. She is on the list for a transplant to be performed in Denver, Colorado, and it can hopefully happen at any moment. Once Carmen receives the transplant, she will be in the hospital for two weeks, and then in recovery for another 6-8 weeks. This fundraiser will help cover her living expenses and medications, as she will be unable to work for quite a while.
