Unfortunately liver disease is rapidly rising, with 1 in 3 Australians now suffering these silent conditions (especially fatty liver disease) that can progress to liver cirrhosis and cancer since they are rarely detected and treated early. Liver cancer has the fastest growing cancer mortality rate, and 5-year survival is only 19%.

Yet a healthy diet, exercise, screening and early intervention can prevent most liver disease from progressing and can even reverse liver fibrosis! So we are being active to help raise awareness of Loving Your Liver, avoiding painful disease, and saving lives (around 2000 Australians die each year from liver cancer alone).
