Lisa Nakamaru, a junior at UC Davis, tragically passed away while rafting on Sunday, October 12, 2014.  She was studying to become a child therapist.   Although Lisa was only 20 years old, she lived life to the fullest and was a compassionate individual.   A scholarship has been established in her honor at South High School in Torrance, CA. Her high school will be honoring her by dedicating "Kindness Week" close to her birthday and having volunteer sign-ups to causes which Lisa believed in like animal rescue, saving the environment and being kind to people in need.  The family is requesting donations to support causes which Lisa believed in and in keeping her legacy alive by living like lisa (#livelikelisa).  If you would like to learn more about Lisa, please visit:  www.facebook.com/lisasnakamaru
