Little Legs - Noah's Journey (keep me close foundation)
For the month of June Tai and Noah will embark on a journey to walk 15 miles to raise money for Keep Me Close Plymouth. This charity is very close to our hearts as it supports the most special men, women and babies who have the roughest starts to life.
Our son Noah was born at 31 weeks gestation after PPROM at 29 weeks. He was born weighing a small 3lb 5oz and spent the first three weeks of his life being cared for by the amazing NICU team in Plymouth. Without these amazing individuals Noah's journey would have ended very differently. Not only did they work hard to keep our son alive, they supported us as family and included our 7 year old as much as possible.
Leaving your child in a hospital and walking out alone knowing your baby is poorly is honestly the worst feeling I've ever experienced, if it wasn't for the Keep Me Close photo updates and Facebook page it would have been more difficult to handle. This amazing foundation brings NICU parents together to support each other as well as providing vital accommodation for families that live out of Plymouth to allow them to be close to their babies.
Thanks to the amazing staff Noah is now almost 2 and loving his life! Tai has decided to raise money in aid of Keep me close Plymouth to support other families that have been in this situation. He believes family is the most important thing and keeping families close to their children is just as important as all the medicines in their road to recovery.
Every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us as a family.
