Little support during an extremely difficult time

Hello some of you might know me or might not I’m Georgia Griffin little sister to Kyle Griffin.

I’m setting this up purely to help Him , Becca & my 4 beautiful Nieces & Nephews.

On Tuesday 22nd April Kyle was doing what he loved best playing rugby he was about 15minutes into the game when he took a big tackle and he went to floor when he stood up and tried to walk his leg immediately gave way. Fast forward to the end of the game we all just thought he had pulled a ligament in his knee or something so off he went to hospital to have scans roughly around 4am on Wednesday morning the news no one was expecting Kyle had a Tibial Plateau fracture and compressed it, meaning he was needing emergency surgery. Whilst waiting for a slot he was also told he wouldn’t be able walk for a minimum of 6 weeks, as-well as his family holiday he was due to go on in 10 days that he wasn’t possible to fly either! My brother was a broken man! He finally had surgery on Thursday morning 3 hours later he was out with screws and plates holing his bones together under his knee.

If you know Kyle you will know him laying down for 5 minutes is near impossible so being told he can’t walk or put any pressure on his leg for at least 6 weeks has destroyed him he is a man that is always on the go always providing for his beautiful family all of which is over now and has the ground at a stop and no further income coming just only there small savings to keep them afloat.

I have set this go fund me up in the hope I can ease the pressure that they are facing currently around the financial hardship even if it just a couple quid that you would buy your morning Costa.

Anything at all will help ease there worries and he can focus and getting back on his feet and walking again. I also know he will be humbled by any support given but I can’t just sit back and watch what was once my big annoying brother just led there in a broken state worried out his mind
