Building Hope for Orphaned Children

Let’s be the family and the hope for those who cannot help themselves.

We are Monk Dhamma, Manu and Lenni, and we are racing to fund the construction of the “Little Hearts” orphanage in Sri Lanka with the Sri Bodhiraja Foundation in constructing — a safe haven that will provide food, shelter, education, and love to orphaned children.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In Sri Lanka, many children, especially boys, face life on the street without security, care, or opportunity.

The Crisis: Currently, orphaned boys living on the streets are being placed in juvenile jails simply because government shelters are not available. Deprived of a proper home, these vulnerable boys are forced to live alongside young criminals just to receive food and safety.

Our Next Mission: We are building a Dedicated Children’s Home to give these young boys a new family and future. This home will replace fear with a family environment, providing:

A Safe Refuge: A nurturing alternative with two full-day caretakers "Ammas" (Mums) to juvenile detention.

Essential Care: Nutritious meals, healthcare, and quality education.

A New Beginning: Emotional support to help boys heal and dream again.

This is more than a building—it is a rescue mission to provide safety, dignity, and secure a future these children deserve.

ABOUT THE FUNDRAISER & THE FOUNDATION

Since 1991, the buddhist monk-led Sri Bodhiraja Foundation has worked to enhance the spiritual, physical, and economic wellbeing of rural Sri Lanka. With over 60 active projects, it provide sanctuary and dignity for the most vulnerable members of society.

TRANSPARENCY & COSTS THE PROJECTS

This project is guided by local monks. As their vows prohibit them from handling money, your donation goes directly toward the construction of this home.

Due to the reputation of the foundation, its previous projects, and the monks themselves, many costs have been covered by donations. The land was received as a generous gift from a local private owner, and local craftsmen are providing discounted labor to make this vision a reality.

Hoffnung für benachteiligte Kinder schaffen

Hallo, wir sind Dhamma und Manu. Wir wenden uns mit einer Herzensangelegenheit an euch. Wir sammeln Spenden, um die Sri Bodhiraja Foundation beim Bau des „Little Hearts“-Waisenhauses in Sri Lanka zu unterstützen — einem sicheren Zufluchtsort, der Waisenkindern und verlassenen Kindern Nahrung, Unterkunft, Bildung und Liebe geben soll.

Jede Spende – ganz gleich in welcher Höhe – hilft, den Grundstein für dieses Zuhause zu legen und den Kindern Hoffnung und Perspektive zu schenken. Gemeinsam können wir etwas bewegen.

In Sri Lanka wachsen viele Kinder unter schwierigen Bedingungen auf. Manche sind Waisen, andere stammen aus Familien, die in tiefer Armut leben. Oft fehlt es an Essen, medizinischer Versorgung, Sicherheit und Zugang zu Bildung. Die Bodhiraja Foundation setzt sich seit 1991 dafür ein, diesen Kindern Schutz, Stabilität und Zukunftschancen zu geben.

In den vergangenen Jahren ist ein starkes Netzwerk an Einrichtungen entstanden:

Projekte wie das Bodhiraja Children’s Home for Girls und das Santhi Children’s Home for Tamil Girls zeigen, dass Mitgefühl und Zusammenhalt Leben verändern können. Aus Unsicherheit kann Vertrauen entstehen, aus Hoffnungslosigkeit ein neuer Anfang.

Unsere nächste Mission: Der Bau eines Kinderheims für benachteiligte Jungen.

Dieses Zuhause soll ihnen bieten:
