Literacy Kits for Spanish speaking families

Support our Literacy Kits Project "Salió la A" and help us to enhance literacy within Spanish speaking families in Toronto!

Our literacy kits are free educational and recreational resources designed for families raising bilingual kids (Spanish/English). This project prioritizes newcomers as a way to help them out with their journey of getting grounded in Toronto, but will remain open to all Spanish speaking families interested in having them. Kits are packages that include resources such as books, toys and games on different topics that will help children 3-5yo in their literacy and learning process, facilitating the assimilation and transition between both languages.

All donations will go directly to Hoja Rota Ediciones and will support the overall costs of 8 Literacy Kits supplies:

-carrying cases

-books (Spanish and English)

-toys and games

-prints

Apoya nuestro proyecto "Salió la A - Literacy Kits" y ayúdanos a mejorar la alfabetización de las familias hispanohablantes en Toronto.

Nuestros kits de alfabetización son recursos educativos y recreativos gratuitos para familias bilingües que parentan en español e inglés. Este proyecto prioriza recién llegados y se ofrece como un recurso para ayudarlos en su proceso de adaptación en Toronto, pero permanecerá accesible a todas las familias hispanohablantes interesadas en él. Los kits son paquetes temáticos que incluyen libros, juegos y juguetes para niños entre 3 y 5 años que los ayudará en su proceso de alfabetización y aprendizaje, facilitando la asimilación y la transición entre el inglés y el español.

Todas las donaciones se enviarán directamente a Hoja Rota ediciones y se invertirán en la compra de los recursos que harán parte de 8 kits:

-estuches

-libros (español e inglés)

-juegos y juguetes

-impresiones
