Lisa went to the hospital mid March with extreme bloating and very limit mobility. She got treated for an infection in her legs. She was then transferred to a care center to receive the rest of her treatment. She was then sent back to the hospital and had a gi bleed and had to get 4 blood transfusions. She went back to the treatment center where she seemed like she was getting a lot better. She would have really great days and would call family members and talk for hours. The day before mother's day she said she was sick and having a bad day. The night of Mother's day she went back into the hospital and was in ICU. Her ammonia levels were really high and they needed to get those back to normal. She had liver damage and her kidneys started to shut down. Lisa passed Tuesday May 18th in the morning surrounded by her loved ones. While Lisa was in the treatment center her insurance stopped paying for her stay and treatments. Her family needs help paying those medical expenses as well as expenses to lay her to rest. Please help in any way you can. No amount is to small! We really appreciate it.
