Dear One & All ~ I would be most grateful if your generosity would enable me to join the millions of other women who will be marching to Washington D.C. on January 21st, 2017. Regardless of your vote on November 8th, I think it is important to let our next administration know that women and minorities deserve to be treated with respect - in both word and deed. My goal is to fund the travel costs for myself and my fellow "Ironwoman," Stacey Schroeder who will be joining me. Between the two of us, we have participated in 14 Ironman triathlons, completing over 1,900 miles but I believe that these might be the most important and empowering steps we will take. If you are generous enough to help us recoup our travel costs, we will donate the remainder of the money to support the local YWCA programs in Silverdale, WA and Portland, OR which help abused and homeless women. And, we will put the name of each and every contributor on the shirts which we will wear at this momentous event so that YOU can be there with us in spirit!
