In Memory of Allen D Crane

I am Audrey Crane, granddaughter of Allen D and Virginia Crane.

We have a family story that my Great-Grandaddy, Claude O. Crane, gave a hand to folks by lending them money to buy property and houses at very little or no interest. He helped a lot of people in his community and was even literally on the map as the Mayor of Vallecito. One day Grandpa said to his father, "I'm going to help more people than you in my lifetime." Great-Grandaddy said, "Well, you better get started!" So he did. Teaching, researching ADHD and allergies for his book Buzzards to Bluebirds, developing exercises to help kids eyes develop so they could read better, and ultimately setting up the Lions' Crane Reading Program (you can learn more on this video and this web site).

Let's help Grandpa help even more people as we remember him (I can just imagine Great-Grandaddy up there arguing about the tally).
