Hello, my name is Linh. I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I need to share my story.

Over the past few years, I worked hard to save what I could, putting away little by little with the hope of building a secure future. Recently, I was approached by a group that presented themselves as investment advisors. They were pushing me into putting my savings into a stock that they claimed would be safe and profitable. I am usually conservative, but I have no idea why I followed them this time... Unfortunately, it turned out to be misleading and unlicensed advice. The stock collapsed by over 80% and was soon halted from trading. I was left unable to sell, unable to protect my money — and ultimately, I lost nearly all of my savings.

This has caused me a lot of stress and depression. I kept thinking about this expensive lesson and could not either sleep well or focus at work. These savings represented years of effort. It’s not easy to share such a personal setback, but I want to be honest about what happened: I was taken advantage of, and now I’m starting over from almost nothing.

I am reaching out here in the hope that kind people may help me get back on my feet. Any support — whether a donation or simply sharing this page — will mean the world to me. It will go toward rebuilding a small financial foundation so that I can recover and move forward more securely, without falling into such traps again.

My goal is now 2400CAD, as I would use it for urgent needs at the moment (like paying rents, current daily expenses).
