Our Story - The Linesch Family has been challenged with a life-changing diagnosis. The past several years have been a journey of ups and downs physically and emotionally for our family, with the most significant changes occurring within the past two+ years.
Doug's ALS journey began in 2022 with a simple weakness in his hands and feet.
After six months of EMGs, blood tests, MRIs, and CAT scans locally, with additional ALS symptoms showing, he completed additional intensive testing at the University of Cincinnati and the Mayo Clinic, both verifying he has ALS.
Diagnosis was February 2023. From there, he went to the staff at The University of Kentucky in Lexington. Neurologist to guide us through this horrible disease.
During this time, Doug's life has gone from an active lifestyle with his family and friends, a fulfilling 39-year corporate pilot career to accepting ALS and all its challenges and outcomes. One of Doug’s Jobs was Corporate Pilot at Jasper Engine and Transmission where he met his caring wife, Donna (Lindauer) Linesch and created their family with Hanna (25 years of age) and Emily (23 years of age).
This diagnosis comes with emotional, physical, and financial burdens.
Thank you in advance for any support possible.
Love,
Friends and Family of the Linesch Family.
