Help Baby Linden with prayers and love

My good friend Katie's newborn baby was just born severely premature via emergency C-Section at only 24 weeks with a hole in his heart and other complications. He is currently in the NICU and on a ventilator and a feeding tube...while Katie is still recovering and her husband Tim has already had return to work. They also have 2 other young children to take care of as well. As you can imagine, this has been a huge burden on this sweet family's shoulders. I’ve made this gofundme with their permission in hopes that it will relieve some stress for them and help them focus on what truly matters - baby Linden and the health of the whole family: mom Katie, dad Tim, sister Maryanne (4) and brother Silas (almost 2) ❤️

I met Katie when she lost her mom...I had just lost my dad. Both grieving we clicked, the kids jived, and we became fast friends. She is the most warm & wonderful person, adding some special sparkle to our lives. I'm hoping you'll help me give her some of that sparkle back...

This is Katie’s update from Thursday 1-10-19:  Linden's chest X-ray from today shows lungs are more "whitey-outy" vs yesterday per the NP. This means his lungs are getting worse. "The honeymoon period is over" the doctor said today. Apparently preemies tend to get worse at about 2 weeks old. Hopefully he will bounce back after this. They will do one more treatment and then try to "wait it out" before doing something more invasive like heart surgery to "clip" the open duct shut. We are all praying for him to pull through and cannot thank all of our friends and family enough for their love and support.
