Lindfield needs new swings! The children demand them and they won't stop swinging until they get them!

Friends of Lindfield Playgrounds CIC (Charity number 1212457) have asked the children of the village to help raise money for some new swings for the playground on Lindfield Common.

On 12 July 2026 they're going to try to keep one swing airborne for SIX HOURS, from 10:00 to 16:00. There will also be crafts, toys and snacks so come along to join in the fun.

We would like to buy a MEGASWING - which is more fun for older children and more accessible too. But the cost (including VAT and installation) will be roughly £10,000.

We're asking Lindfield residents and local business-owners to give generously to this cause, to raise the level of fun and adrenaline in Lindfield.
