Linda Temple Travel Fund

Dear WARP Members, this is a secret gift travel fund for Linda Temple, who has given 25 years of service to WARP as our Newsletter Editor. Since we don't want Linda to find out about it, please make sure you do not share this fundraiser on social media - This is an internal, top secret fundraiser! Please note that this is also not a tax deductible donation to WARP, but rather an individual gift to Linda for everything she has done for our community over the years.

For those of you who haven't met Linda: She has been involved in Fair Trade work since the early 80s, when the war in Guatemala created many widows and orphans. Linda was one of the co-founders of WARP in 1992, and without her dedicated administrative work in those early years, there probably would be no WARP. She has been WARP's newsletter editor for 25 years, tirelessly collecting contributions from WARP members and from the global textile community at large.

We are creating this fundraiser campaign for "Linda's Travel Fund" knowing that in her retirement she plans to make trips to visit her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren who live in London. We will, of course, make sure Linda knows that she can use the funds however suits her best.

We are also collecting stories & images for a Special-Edition newsletter that will be our elaborate "thank you card" for Linda from the WARP community.
