LINDA Organization

We are raising money for our nonprofit organization that takes women (and often their children!) from distress to success.  We collect and donate cosmetics, toiletries, and other necessities that are financially out of reach for women who are in domestic violence shelters, who have recently been released from incarceration, and for women who are in halfway houses or programs.  In the extremely near future, we will also begin workshops that help these same women to prepare their resumes, practice interviewing skills, help with computer skills, etc.

Although we have already begun collection and distribution, we now need start-up costs for the legal fees of incorporation and federal status.  We also must pay for overhead items such as insurance, paperwork, flyers, stationery, etc. 

We already know how important this work is and we have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have already received from donation of goods and donation of time.  We want LINDA to be able to spread and help as many distressed women as there are out there.  We want to help empower women who need help and make sure their children are not caught up in a cycle of distress.  

We are grateful for any donation--no matter what the size.  Together, we can make our society a more fair and just place.
