Linda Al-Shammari

I am writing on behalf of a dear friend, mother, grandmother, and one of the most selfless people I have ever met, Linda Al-Shammari. Linda has spent her career serving her community as a bartender and waitress in numerous establishments in the Tigard/Beaverton area. Along with her hard work ethic, she has helped to raise her three grandchildren and gives anything and everything she has to make sure they are cared for.

Linda has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone surgery this last week. Along with her cancer battle she has been let go from her job. As the sole provider of her household, losing her income and gaining a cancer diagnosis all within a short a period of time has caused immense stress to her and her family.

Due to her cancer procedure, Linda will be unable to start looking for employment for a minimum of four weeks.

Linda spent her whole life serving her community both professionally and personally, we hope now we can rally around her to support her through this difficult time.

Any donations received from this GoFundMe will go directly to helping Linda pay her household and medical bills. Our hopes are that by relieving a small amount of the financial burden that inevitably comes with any cancer diagnosis, Linda will be able to focus on her health and begin her healing journey.
