As a father I write this note , our beautiful, remarkable and talented troubled son took his own life this week. We didn't notice the signs, we thought he was on the up ie in a good place. He was a little down the night before and we'd seen that thousands of times before so we left him to it thinking the next night he'd be his chirpy self again. We never saw him again, as a family we are devastated but we are staying strong and helping each other through it

As a dad & a human being my message to any child or grown adults out there who are struggling please talk, pick up the phone anything tell someone how you're feeling, the devastation you leave behind for those that love you is so unbearable that it feels impossible to carry on. Family, friends & even strangers are there for those who feel depressed

Please just talk.

I'm posting this but I don't want faux sympathy or numbers, if 1 person reads this and changes their mind I will sleep a little better.

The team are ran by incredible volunteers and rely solely on donations. They assisted through the night and all the next day in some of the most horrendous weather.
