Hey, my name is Conor and I’m from the UK. I’ve been travelling to Jamaica since I was 4 years old, so it’s never just been a holiday destination to me — it’s home. My family is from LimeTree, and I’ve always kept that connection strong.
As I’ve grown up, I’ve started to see Jamaica differently. Yes, it’s beautiful. Yes, people call it a paradise island. But there’s another side that doesn’t always get shown. There’s real poverty. Real struggle. I’ve seen it first hand in the very community my family comes from.
Now that I’m older, I feel a responsibility to give back.
I want to support the people of LimeTree in real, practical ways — whether that’s helping with water, electricity, gas, or just basic day-to-day needs. Sometimes it’s not about big gestures. Sometimes it’s about making sure someone can keep the lights on.
I looked into supporting existing charities, but I really wanted to see the impact for myself. I wanted to know exactly where the money goes, who it helps, and what change it actually makes. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to see that clearly through a larger organisation — so I thought, why not start something myself?
The idea is simple: raise money, go directly into the community, help people in need, and show every donor exactly where their support has gone. Total transparency. Real people. Real change.
I’ve got this space in my heart that just wants to give. As much as we think we’re struggling sometimes, there are millions of people who would swap situations with us in a heartbeat. If I can make even a small difference to someone’s life, that means everything.
I can’t do this alone though. I’d really appreciate any support, whether that’s donating, sharing, or just believing in what I’m trying to build.
Let’s make something happen.
