Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my sister, Limagy Ortiz, a dedicated Army Reservist and the loving mother of five beautiful children, with the most recent being less than a week old. As you can imagine, raising a large family with a newborn, while balancing her military commitments, has been incredibly challenging.

In addition to her role as a mother and service member, my sister is working tirelessly to create a better future for her family. She is currently taking online classes to pursue a career in the medical assisting field. Despite her hard work and ambition, she has faced some unimaginable struggles along the way.

During her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, which made her pregnancy high risk. Due to her condition, she had to quit her job to prioritize her health and the well-being of her baby. Throughout this difficult time, her fiance has been working multiple jobs to make full-time pay, supporting their family the best he can.

Yet, despite their best efforts, the financial burden is overwhelming. The challenges of raising five young children, including a newborn, combined with her medical issues and her fiance’s multiple jobs, have made it hard to make ends meet.

Your generous donations will help cover the next few months of rent, daily living expenses, and allow my sister to continue her studies as she works toward a new career while supporting her family through this trying time.
