Hi, my name is Kimberly and I am fundraising for my Granddaughter Lily. On Easter morning Lily was attacked by a dog. She was taken to Children’s Hospital and had to have surgery to repair her eyelid and to fix a few other injuries she received. We are very lucky that she is alive but she has a long recovery ahead of her. She has lots of medical supplies she will need that insurance won’t cover. Lots of visits she will need to go back and forth to Children’s and mom is having to take time off of work to be there for her. To see her in person is heartbreaking but she has been so brave through this. As most of you know she’s deaf and luckily even though a bite was close to her cochlear implant it didn’t affect it. When Lily first saw herself in the mirror she signed that she is still beautiful. Such a heart tugging moment for all of us! Please help us do all we can to make sure Lily is able to heal in the way she needs and that mom is able to take those days off to help her.
