Support for Lily & Evie

For me, grief is one of the hardest emotions to sit with, especially when I see my young nieces Lily (11) and Evie (8) going through it. Losing a parent is the loss of a foundation, and they have both lost their father at pivotal ages. All I want to do is help alleviate their pain in some way, but, as anyone who has experienced grief knows, and through my loss of my mom in 2016, there is not a lot that can be done, which is part of why it's so difficult. I think many of you feel similarly as messages from loved ones pour in, asking what can be done to help support the girls. We appreciate this so much. One thing we can do for the girls during this time when it is not much else we can do but watch them grieve is to donate minimal financial support for a long-term fund that could be used for their development and wellbeing: meals, gymnastics/sports, summer camps, college funds, therapy/support, etc. No pressure if this is not something you can do, and we appreciate love and support in all ways. Thank you all for your love and support. Meghan and I (Auntie Nini), along with their families, will ensure the girls are wrapped in support, given time and space to grieve, and surrounded by those who can aid in their happy, healthy development.
