My neighbors, The Pfaff's, poor dog, a 2 year old Pomsky, Lilo was hit by a car this morning in front of their home. It was a complete accident on everyone's part, but her injuries are quite severe (at least 5 fractures including her pelvis, elbow etc). Surgery is estimated to cost at least $10,000, but is expected to make a full recovery. As a dog lover, i'd hate for money to be the reason my pups wouldn't be able to get the best care.
