Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m raising money for my daughter Lillie.

Lillie is 11 years old and about to start intensive treatment for aplastic anaemia, a rare and life-threatening condition where the bone marrow fails to produce blood cells. She’ll be having chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant later this summer — and she’s been so incredibly brave every step of the way. She will be in hospital for up to 8 weeks in London away from her family and sisters

This week, she found out she will lose her hair during treatment.

It’s hit her hard — but in true Lillie style, she’s decided to face it her way. Before the chemo starts, she wants to bleach her hair and go bold with colours — purples, pinks, maybe even full rainbow. This is her way of taking back a bit of control and saying “I get to choose how this begins.”

A few wonderful people have asked if they can help with the cost, so I’ve set up this fundraiser to cover the bleaching, fun colours, and (if we raise a little extra) a small pamper treat or some cosy hats for the months ahead.
