On the 28th December 2023, our beautiful daughter Lila tragically passed away after being misdiagnosed with meningitis. She was kind, caring, and dreamed of becoming a nurse – always wanting to help others.

In the darkest time of our lives, we knew we had to carry her light forward.

Lila’s Light was created in her memory, to support families facing the unimaginable loss of a child or sibling. No family should have to navigate such heartbreak alone.

We provide:

Bereavement bags for siblings – filled with thoughtful resources, memory activities, and comfort items to help children process grief and remember their loved one.

Grief journals for teenagers – offering a safe space to express emotions.

Books and guidance for families – helping parents support their children through loss

Practical support to local services – including donations like cuddle cot blankets.

So far, we have supported hospitals, schools, and families within our community – and we want to reach even more.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us continue Lila’s legacy of kindness, compassion, and care.

Together, we can bring light into the darkest moments.
