Hello! My name is Lila Gold, I am 12 years old and I will be having my Bat Mitzvah soon.  I was planning on working in an orphanage in Jamaica this past summer, but my plans were cancelled because of the pandemic.  With the help of my mom and dad, I have found an organization in Hollywood called Youth Emerging Stronger (YES) that gives homeless teenagers a safe place to stay, mental health services, life skills training, and education and career development.
     My plan is to raise funds so I can provide individual care packages to each of the teens who are currently living there. I will be directly working with the organization to coordinate the needs of each of the kids, and then I will purchase, assemble, and personally deliver the packages.  I will also be raising money to buy other essentials that the organization needs. 
    Thank you in advance for any help.  My hope is that these teens feel less isolated when they know that I care, and others also care about their success.
