We have never been the type of family to ask for a hand out but we have exhausted all resources. Maxing out credit cards down to having a good friend get a loan in his name. After finding out today that I am ineligible for unemployment for the next six weeks be cause of a over payment in 2014. We also learned that my fiancé is still fighting a serious infection. For those of you that don't know we have just brought our beautiful son into the world on oct 25th. After taking a planned two weeks off. I was scheduled to go back to work. Until we learned that mommy had a serious infection that almost cost her life. Needless to say going back to work was not an option. fallowing a lengthy stay in the hospital momma got to come home on inhome health care. All seemed well till today. During a fallow up visit we learned the infection has returned. Probably a result of being taken of antibiotics too early. So again returning back to work any time soon is not an option again. I have a always been a very independent hard working man. This is by far the most humbling and even humiliating things I have ever done. To ask for something I didn't help earn has never been an option for me. But at this point there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Our goal In this is to get just enough money to pay bills for the month to come. Until I can get back to work and provide for my own. As I always have.
