Hello Everyone!

 

On April 1, 2022, I received a phone call that no parent would ever want to receive. My oldest son and namesake passed away suddenly and unexpectantly. Darnell Jr. (whom I affectionately called Lil Dee) was a good kid and a joy to have as a son. As a teenage dad, I quickly made an effortless decision to man up and handle my business. Lil Dee was one of my greatest gifts! I was gifted an opportunity to father a son (though so much like me) I was determined to raise him to be a better man than me. I was also gifted with love from him that was unconditional. When times were hard we’d ride them out together until they became better. He never complained nor did he think of me any less. Lil Dee loved hard and had a heart of gold. He was very understanding, protective and respectful. He never met a stranger. If someone were in need he would find a way to help. He almost always placed others above himself.  

 

I am asking everyone who can and will to please help me give my son a proper burial. I am also asking if you will please share this on your page and with people that you know.
