Lights for Joy Snowball Effect

GIVING THE GIFT OF JOY TO OTHERS COMES IN MANY FORMS, and that's how, why and what my 'Lights for Joy' is all about! Of course Lights for Joy takes a big investment of my time and money, but with GREAT THANKS TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU.... the positive snowball effect makes it all worth it! It's very surreal to me that showing your appreciation with a donation can affect so many people who don't even know about my light display. When people often ask about "my why", I best explain by replying, "This is my big mountain to climb, but once I finally reach that top, I get to share the rewards with many."

This year, I'm taking these donations for CVAN (Cabarrus Victims Assistance Network) a little further than last year... literally. lol Instead of just directly giving the money, I'm going to double up on the number of people it brings joy to. Since their thrift store is only 2.4 miles from me, I will visit the store periodically to scope out deserving shoppers and pay for their items. This way, their patrons experience instant joy and CVAN still gets the money! IT'S A DOUBLE WIN! If you've never done something like this before, I highly encourage you to do so. I've done it at Goodwill and Salvation Army; the people are always so grateful and in disbelief.

As a sole proprietor small business owner, I am extremely grateful for my past, present and future home buyers and sellers who make this over-the-top Christmas display all possible.
