Lights on for kids' future

A trip always change ours lives, especially during trips where the culture is completely different and cannot reflect our comfort zone.
I would like to share with you my last journey, which has changed my point of view and gave me the desire to start this project.
I`m Renato, 26 years old, I spent my life travelling the world and discover other cultures.
I had an amazing time in Uganda in those 2 weeks where I spend with Tony, the creator of KIDA ( Katosi Inter-community Development Alliance), lots of time between the amazing kids of this marvel country, Uganda.
I learnt a lot during those 2 weeks, I learnt how blessed i am, I learnt how people can change things if they really want and mostly i learnt how much we can do with a small help.

Tony is the director of KIDA, which provides a sustainable school to families who are unable to give their kids a primary education.

What he is doing and providing is simply amazing and admirable.
During my time here, however, I discovered how much the kids still need to keep going with their study and guarantee themselves an education.

The activities from Kida strive to create sustainable change in communities through building sustainable infrastructures which are then maintainable by the community members.

Also fostering community development by mentoring and empowering families, youths and women groups in development through training and workshops, creation of village savings and loan associations (VISLA), working on general community needs such as construction of community and school water sources, environmental friendly cooking stoves as well as promoting health and wellness through awareness and campaigns on family planning, domestic violence and prevention of HIV/AIDS.

We, together, can help him and mostly them, to keep this going and most of all to make it better and better.

What i am asking is a simple share from you. You decide how much you want to help and contribute to this cause. As soon as you are donating any amount even the smallest you are helping those amazing kids to have a brighter future.
Make something different today, make your day better, make it unforgettable.
