Women in Brooklyn

Please help us raise money for the women at 85 Lexington Shelter in brooklyn!

we are raising this money to buy the essentials that are going to fill 111 bags with essential items and give them to the women who live at the shelter to help them gain confidence and get through their days easier. These bags will be filled and given to the women by christmas.

The essentials we are looking for:

Letters of support and guidance
personal gifts
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Mouthwash (alcohol free)
deoderant
tampons
hair brush / accessories
Clothing (socks, underwear, shirts, pants, wintergear)
Metrocards
Food and water (trying not to use plastic bottles!)
make up
jewelry

We are trying to be as sustainable as possible, so any known sustainable or eco-friendly businesses or establishments, foundations, etc., with extra supplies they could donate in bulk, would be extremely appreciated!

You can email any letters of support to [email redacted] and they will be printed, or if you have a handwritten letter you can send an email to the above email and we will provide you with an address to send it.

All other donations including clothes, please contact [email redacted] and we will provide you with an address to send them to, or arrange to pick them up!
