To enhance safety along Rock Creek, we propose forming a flag committee to install and maintain a lighted flagpole. This will mark the dangerous stone outcropping at night while proudly displaying the American flag at all hours.

The existing pole is too short, allowing the flag to get wet during spring high water. We've secured a taller 18-foot pole to resolve this issue. We're now working on a sturdy base, along with new rope and a bright light for nighttime visibility.

This is a nonprofit volunteer effort with no financial gain, offering patriots a chance to contribute to boating safety and a meaningful community project. Join us in making Rock Creek safer!
