Light Up the Dark: Bring Healing, Hope, and Opportunity to 4,000 Children and Youth in Kakuma, Kenya
Thousands of children and youth in and around Kakuma , Kenya, have faced unimaginable hardship. Many are displaced within their own countries, while others have fled war, conflict, and extreme poverty from the Democratic Republic of Congo and beyond. These children are survivors - survivors of loss, violence, and life on the streets. Many still carry deep trauma, and their futures remain uncertain.
At BOUND FOR CHANGE, we believe every child deserves healing, hope, and a chance to dream again. That is why we are launching this campaign to reach 4,000 children and youth through regular community sessions featuring motivational movies, educational documentaries, and inspiring stories of inventors, changemakers, and creative thinkers. These sessions will offer comfort, guidance, and practical knowledge, helping young people imagine new possibilities and explore ways to create sustainable small businesses using local materials.
Why We Need Your Help
Our grassroots partners in Kakuma have the passion and dedication, but lack the equipment to run these life-changing sessions. They have no projectors, screens, speakers, computers, or seating to host children safely and comfortably. With your support, we will provide everything needed to create an environment that fosters learning, healing, and community.

Held every weekend and more frequently during school holidays
