Light up Palmer!

What originated as a fun idea between Bleeding Heart Brewery and Alaska Picker has become a staple of our town each and every Colony Christmas. With the most recent historical windstorm, all our efforts and lights were knocked out, and we couldn't keep the tower lit any longer than a couple of weeks. We started to consider a more permanent solution and an opportunity to involve the community; that's you! This is our attempt to unite this town and community around Palmer's iconic symbol and celebrate a shared goal.

Turns out REAL lighting and ACTUAL equipment is very expensive, and while we all enjoyed the nature of our patchwork daisy chain of extension cords and Walmart lights, this solution will allow us to create a true spectacle all year long. Imagine Palmer's homecoming with a Blue and white tower lit up on game day or a countdown by sections as we start the Colony Christmas parade; these are possible with the system we are looking to purchase, but we need your help.

Any amount donated to this GoFundme will help reach the ultimate end goal for the lights and the tower's upkeep. If you’re a business and would like to make a donation as a business expense, contact the Palmer Chamber of Commerce to write a check, and they will apply the donation directly to the cause! Don't want to donate money on the Internet? No Problem, feel free to write a check, hit an ATM, or do whatever Crypto/NFT thing that gives you money, and bring it into Bleeding Heart or Chamber, and we'll apply it to the funds as well.
