Hello, my name is Dustin Paxson. I am the mailman for Neskowin. My wife and I are trying to do the first-ever Neskowin Christmas tree lighting. We need help due to me only having one day off a week, and this time of year, also the tree is 60 feet, I do not get done with work until after dark. So, try as we might, we don't have enough time or people power to get this big project done in time by ourselves.

We have discovered a company that does this professionally and have gotten a quote of $1,000. Typically a job this size can cost anywhere from 2000 to 5,000 because of the size of the tree and it could be more once they do the on-site quote as for the initial quote was internet only, I already have purchased a $1,000 worth of the lights to be put on and have the boom lift to get the work done. I do not have the time or energy I thought I would. We are asking the community for help raising $1,200 to get this done. The extra $200 would be a tip for them for the holiday season.

PLEASE help if you can I have tried with all my might to do this ourselves unfortunately we cannot, and don't want to let this opportunity to bring such joy to our community be for nothing especially this time of year. I don't want to let people down by not doing what I set out to do. The community has done so much for me already and I am honestly a little embarrassed to ask for the help but sometimes you must swallow your pride.
