Because of covid 19 the majority of fundraising events for the town Christmas lights have been unable to go ahead in 2020. These include the annual church gate collection, Devonshire day fundraiser and proceeds from the Immrama festival.
Waterford county council has allocated lismore, a dissapointing sum of 500euro towards our Christmas lights this year, which will barely contribute to the installation and running costs over the Christmas period. 
Its been a very different year for all in our community and is sure to be a very different Christmas!
