Lifting Up The Westwood Family for Jon

Donation protected

Jon Westwood 44, is an army war veteran that served 2 tours in the middle east. He is the father of 9 amazing children ages 2- 18 (the oldest severely autistic and missing his daddy). On Tuesday August 31st, he wa taken by ambulance in respiratory distress. His O² levels were in the 50's. He had just been diagnosed with covid pneumonia the previous morning and prescribed medications but rapidly declined.

By 5:30 am he called his wife with his nurse and doctors to tell her that he couldn't keep it up anymore. He needed to be put on a ventilator. He was put into medically induced coma and as of today is still. Once he is brought out of it he will have a long road to recovery.

Jon loves his family and wanted nothing else but to be their rock. Unfortunately, he is unable to do that at this time. This has left his family emotionally, mentally and financially strained.

They are in need of enough assistance to get through not only these next few days but possibly weeks or even months. The longer Jon is in the coma, the longer his recovery will take. As of right now no one knows how long that will be. We are praying for a quick recovery but want to ensure that they are taken care of should it not be so.
