Help a Mother and Her Two Daughters Find Safety, Stability, and a Fresh Start

Dear friends,

Asking for help is not easy for me, but I am reaching out because my daughters and I have been given an opportunity that could truly change our lives, and we need a little help getting there.

I am a single mother gratefully raising two daughters, ages 20 and 13, in our homeland. Over the years, we have weathered many challenges together, and through it all, my goal has always been the same: to create a safe, stable, and loving home for my girls.

For the past few years, our living situation has been less than ideal, but about a year and a half ago it became significantly more difficult. What had once been merely uncomfortable gradually became a source of ongoing stress, and it became increasingly clear that we needed to find a new place to live.

After a long search, an incredible opportunity appeared. We found an apartment in a beautiful nearby residential community, just minutes from where we currently live. The location is life-changing for our family. It is directly across from my younger daughter's school and dance studio, and there is also much easier access to public transportation making daily life easier and allowing greater independence and stability for both my girls.

But perhaps most importantly, it offers something our current living situation cannot: safety.

Like many families here, we have spent the last few years living with the reality of early alerts and security threats. Our current home has no protected shelter space whatsoever. When sirens sound, we are forced to leave our home and drive elsewhere to find protection. Those moments are frightening and stressful, especially as a mother responsible for keeping her children safe.

The apartment we are moving to has a protected shelter space in the basement of the building. Instead of scrambling to leave home during emergencies, we will be able to reach safety within moments. The peace of mind that comes with knowing my daughters are protected is impossible to put into words.

We have found the home. Now we need help getting there.

The costs of moving, transportation, deposits, utility transfers, and setting up a new household are simply more than I can manage alone at this time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us make this transition and begin a new chapter in a safer and more stable environment.
