For the past five years, we’ve been working on a major construction project in Hillerød, Denmark: a pharmaceutical plant that will produce life-saving medicines. While physical health is at the core of what we’re building, we believe mental wellness deserves just as much attention—especially in our industry.
Mental health challenges are alarmingly common in construction. Research shows that 83% of workers have experienced issues like anxiety, depression, stress, fatigue, poor concentration, or loss of self-confidence. A single “bad day” can spiral into a lasting crisis—and tragically, male construction workers are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide than the general population.
We want to help change that. Our goal is simple: break the silence and challenge the culture of stoicism that’s deeply rooted in construction. We want to make it normal—and safe—to talk about what’s going on in our heads.
To support this mission, we’re raising funds for The Lifeline, in partnership with DRISP (Danish Research Institute for Suicide Prevention)—an organization dedicated to providing support, guidance, and hope to those who need it most. And we’re doing it the best way we know how: through football—a sport that brings people together across cultures, generations, and backgrounds. All donations sent to this GoFundMe page will go straight to our partner charity.
Join us for our Charity Football Tournament, where our diverse workforce will come together on the pitch to rally around one cause: saving lives through mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
