Life As Ceremony: New Computer & Self Care Tools
Living with Chronic Illness
As many of you know and for folx who don't, Alice was diagnosed with Interstatial Cystitis two years ago. Interstitial cystitis (IC), often called painful bladder syndrome, is a tricky condition. It’s tough to diagnose, and though treatments can make life with it better, there’s no cure. Most recently she had an episode of Bell's Palsey last summer. Alice lives with chronic pain and illness daily. It has been physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually challenging for Alice and her family.
Reason to Support
Alice wants to continue her work with Life As Ceremony for the collective as well as her own creative path. Sadly, right after the 7th volume was published, Alice's hard drive on her laptop completely died. She has been managing with an IPAD, but the work it takes to design these editions will take a new set up and support.

Getting these funds to Alice within the next 1-2 months would be amazing for her and her family as Spring will be coming, the equinox here and the sunlight in the PNW beginning to shine for longer hours.
Alice did not ask me to write this, it is something I have felt deeply needed to happen. Alice is a bridge builder, a tender of the hearth and home (Capricorn Moon). Her work is built through community, and now she needs community support.
I saw on Alice's instagram "You can't save the world on your own, don't carry that weight". As a community, we are here for Alice. Lets support her, her family, and her ancestors so she doesn't have to carry it all.
