Hello!

I am so excited to announce my upcoming medical mission trip to Guatemala. On March 21st, I will be joining Team Joy, a medical mission providing life changing facial surgeries, specializing in Cleft Palate repair for children in the province of Retalhuleu. Many of the children born with a cleft lip or palate deformity, are met with severe difficulties eating leading to malnutrition and speech challenges. Our team of gifted surgeons, nurses and technicians traveling from the US volunteer their time and skills to give these children a wonderful new outlook on life.
These surgeries are being offered to all patients pro bono - the donations that I am seeking here pay for my individual portion of team travel and supplies.  All our time is completely volunteered.

As a registered nurse living in New York, I am honored to be able to work with Team Joy on this mission.  The mission is being organized by
International Esperanza Project which organizes healthcare, educational and community development missions to Guatemala.
