Hello everyone,
My name is Maisa, and I write these words with a heart heavy with sorrow, yet still holding on to hope.
I have lost everything.
My home in Gaza was completely destroyed because of the war. The place where I used to cook for my children, where we laughed and lived… is gone. Now, I live in indescribable conditions without shelter, without safety, without comfort.
But the greatest loss in my life is not just my home… I lost my husband in this war. And my children, the loves of my heart, are no longer by my side. They were able to leave Gaza before the war broke out, and I thank God they are safe, but I can no longer see them or hold them. I am completely alone.
Every day here is a struggle to survive, not to live. There is no safety, and no future in this place. I am trying to raise funds not just to stay alive, but to escape to find a way out, to be reunited with my children, and to live in a place where I do not feel fear every moment.
I know life is hard for many, but if you can help in any way—even with a small amount or simply by sharing this page—it could change my life. Every dollar brings me one step closer to safety, to healing, and to being with my children again.
I will add photos to show the reality I am living not to shock, but so people can see the truth and understand that what is happening is real, and urgent.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for your time, your humanity, and every bit of support you give.
With all love and gratitude,
Maisa
