Life After Our Stillborn Daughter

On August 29, 2025, at 38 weeks pregnant, I delivered my stillborn daughter. I experienced a major post-partum hemorrhage, losing over 1,000ml of blood, and had a transfusion of cryoprecipitate. I am now at home healing with my husband, Seth. Since coming home, we have had to make the decision to cremate our daughter, choose an Urn for her ashes, and grieve for her. I will be home from work for several weeks, healing not only from the physical side of what I endured, but also the mental anguish of delivering a stillborn baby girl.
Please contact me directly if you would like to hear more about our story, or if you would like to see photos of her.
Her name is Evelyn.
Our entire home was ready for her to arrive. Coming home from the hospital with an empty car seat, we have decided to store all of our baby supplies for now.
We have donated our entire stock pile of diapers to HELP Pregnancy Aid in Grand Rapids, to help moms in need. We also donated our collection of baby shampoos, and a pregnancy pillow.
We are just asking for any donations to help alleviate stress at this point in our lives.
Thank you for thinking of us.
